Last Sunday I found myself back in Philadelphia-area for the day... which certainly makes for a good excuse to toss a few photos into a quick post to document the goings on. Plus, my rental car was a sweet little red Kia Soul. I kinda liked it...
It's not. It was just a rental. It was kinda fun to drive though. Not much room inside for anyone who wants to sit in the back seat, but if it was just for me...
The car is definitely an acquired taste. Think you'll be up to wet a line come September? I'm headed out to Colorado again - I'll get another cool rental car while I'm there.
The look of melted cheese around a beef patty will always catch my eye. Enjoyed the photographs. That water looks fantastic for Tenkara or a 0 - 3 wt rod.
Apparently not a business trip with all that water.
ReplyDeleteStrategically planned day before the business.
DeleteNever waste good water. :)
ReplyDeleteNever. Even when it's only ankle deep in most places.
DeleteSign of a professional always having T-rod at the ready. Nice looking river and that meal looks very tasty.
ReplyDeleteThat's the beauty of those rods. Can take them pretty much anywhere to sneak in a little time fishing.
DeleteIs that your car? I love it.

Okay, I hate to admit it but I just love the water there. (The car, not so much.)

September is getting pretty full. I've got a friend coming out from Oregon and I'm going to Ohio. Let me know when!
DeleteGood to see that you found your favorite things back home away from home again. Greasy hamburgers... mmmmm
ReplyDeleteThe greasier the better.

ReplyDeleteThat water is perfect for both. Pre-tenkara, the 3-weight was my weapon of choice.
