Fishing Haturday – Crooked Creek Holler

I like hats. I’ve got way too many in my closet to ever wear, yet when it comes time to thin the herd, if I happen to let one go, I usually just end up acquiring three more.

As such, I thought I’d occasionally post some fishing hats that have caught my eye. Doesn’t mean I own them (yet), just that I’m pickin’ up what they’re puttin’ down. Warning, I really don’t care for flat brims but am partial to trucker hats, (not the type with foam fronts), so you may end up seeing a trend over time.

Today’s Fishing Haturday featured hat is…

The Navy Trout Hat from Crooked Creek Holler

I’ve taken a liking to Crooked Creek’s trout logo. This hat also comes in other colors, like brown, orange, and various shades of camo. The navy one pictured above is probably my favorite though, kinda business in the front and a party in the back, and can be had for a mere $24.

  1. They still exist. You know, alongside rotary phones and fax machines…Just kidding of course. I'll feature “regular” hats too, just not today.

  2. Well, Michael, I have said repeatedly on my blog and on my Facebook page that I am a “Hat” kind of guy. Love 'em. Really can only wear one at a time, though. That being said, I also have the same problem that you have. Throw away one and buy three!I really, really like the hat you have featured here. That would be close to Denver Bronco colors as you could get………………………………….

  3. I'm fortunate that I have a fat head (not ego related, well maybe) and the one size fits all, doesn't fit me so if I want a ball cap, got to buy at the big and tall store. That keeps the hat count down.

  4. There's so many hats I like but the problem is shelling out $25 to get them. I just can't make myself do it. I'll just wait a few months until these hats are on Sierra Trading Post for $10.

  5. Really dig the colors on that lid! Might have something to do with me liking the Chicago Bears. I'm a fan of trucker hats. They allow my brain to breath, and not over heat…not that it ever would. Haha
