While my taste in TV is generally directed more toward hillbillies, bigfeet, and the purchase of abandoned storage lockers, I guess my last post on ice fishing caught the eye of someone in the land of public television. However, this ain't no Downton Abbey...and as such, I share what they asked me to below...
...and yes, even though I don't ice fish, I want one.
So my tax dollars are supporting content on this crappy site?
ReplyDeleteYes. Blame Obama. Everybody else does.
DeleteBusted out laughing at work about this
DeleteMaybe they will send you one to field test...
ReplyDeleteOne can only hope.
DeleteA DUI waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably why they make it crash & sink proof.
DeleteI saw one of these out on the ice the other day. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteIf you see any more I may ask you to slap a T! sticker on the bumper.
DeleteYou need to pitch a new reality TV series to PBS where you incorporate intoxicated hillbillies chasing bigfeet with these gizmos on the ice.
ReplyDelete"World of Wilcraft?"
I like it.
DeleteI was bemoaning the fact that no one every asks me to push their products like this...now I'm glad although I kind of like Brent's idea.
ReplyDeleteI just find it as an opportunity to "write" a post and using far less than the typical minimal effort.
DeleteNotice that the practicality of the ice mobile is covered quite thoroughly. Really some interesting features. However, no price shared or how a person can own one. I would assume after looking at the final price, most ice fisherman I know would go with a sled, bucket, and perhaps a ice hut. I will be awaiting your review post some day, Mike!
ReplyDeleteI doubt a review post will be coming soon Mel, but if you'd like me to review the one piece of ice fishing gear you didn't mention (that comes in liquid form) I'd be happy to take one for the team!
DeleteThat thing is freakin sweet! can you throw paddle tires on it in the summer to hit the dunes? lol
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy that greatly.
DeleteGreat stuff and I know a bunch of guys in Michigan that would love one but I'm still trying to figure out why pbs is promoting it....bass pro might be a better avenue right? Hope they give you one.
ReplyDeleteWould be nice if I got one, but at somewhere around ten grand for a base model, somehow I doubt that is happening.
