Sorry, No Wednesday Nibbles...

...as yesterday was my wife K.C.'s birthday.

So no time to scrape YouTube & other various websites for random nonsensical content last night.  Perhaps you should go to Moldy Chum if you need a fix of that today.  Instead, we went to the Phillies game (which they promptly lost), but did get her happy birthday wishes up on the scoreboard.
Yes, The Diaper Bag Wrangler made her own felt crown...or is it a tiara?
That kid on the scoreboard is pretty stoked to have his picture on Troutrageous!

After that we tried to have a bit of a date night...downing some greasy grub at Nifty Fifties, but Lilly sabotaged that mission somewhat.  She was supposed to sleep over a friend's house, and we'll just say that didn't work out.  We had to leave a little earlier than planned, but it was fun night anyway - however like I said, no time for Nibbles.
Cheese fries were ooey gooey good, but unfortunately rushed

But who knows...maybe a rare edition of Thursday Nibbles might be in store this week.  We'll see...

  1. LOL - Happy Birthday Mrs. Troutrageous!

Those cheese fries look like heart busters , might want to have your blood pressure checked! LOL , I'm just kidding , looks like something I would eat while my wife gave me dirty looks and reminded me that heart disease runs in my family

I know I shouldn't say this after another gracious link...but I can't help it....I'd swear I saw that photo of the scoreboard in an episode of "The Office." Yep. No doubt. That's Michael Scott worming his way into the shot. ;) LOL

  3. Wow, you really spared no expense on those tickets. Is that the make-out section? :)

Happy birthday KC, I hope TRage let you enjoy the fries while he drove to pick up Lilly.

  4. Sometimes life just gets in the way of fun. Glad you guys had a good time.

  5. @JM
I actually went to the doctor today for a checkup. Those fries are well worth it.

  6. @The Nonsensical One
At least it wasn't the All-Star game...then Michael Scarn would have shown up with his robot butler.

  7. @Clif
Clif, you have no idea how those seats sucked...especially in the 35MPH winds. We actually have some sort of ticket package, like 6 or 8 games, and the tickets are scattered all over the park. Last night's were tough.

  8. Happy Birthday to K.C.!

  9. Nothing like a birthday spent at a baseball game especially the Bank. Happy Birthday to K.C.
