Electrofishing for Brookies

Here's a video one of the members of the message board actually posted (so I can't take credit). It's taken from the NJ Star-Ledger website, and shows the process and techniques that the Division of Fish & Wildlife biologists use to survey a stream via "electrofishing."

  1. I've never seen that done before. I usually hear about it the day after they have shocked the stream - "They said they shocked up some 5 and 6 ponders..." And I catch 9-10 inchers.
